It’s a comfortable place in a good location, and the breakfast is good, but a few basic hostel things were missing. There was no hand soap, which is a basic hygiene need and frankly irresponsible. There was also nowhere to store luggage, even though hostel guests are traveling with bags. They do have a kitchen, but it couldn’t be used during my stay, and they hadn’t told us beforehand. After checkout, guests have to leave the building, which is really inconvenient in Brazil when you may be taking a night bus. These basics are standard hospitality at the other hostels I’ve stayed in and wouldn’t cost extra to provide.

The female dorm was comfortable, and I appreciated the bed’s light shield and nearby sockets. The whole hostel was very clean, and the varied breakfast was great. There’s a shared area with a pool, plants, and a hammock. It’s a large house with traditional colonial architecture and Dutch influence in the decor and atmosphere. The location is lovely, near the main church and bars. I stayed in May 2022 and loved it. I’ll definitely come back!

The coziness and comfort made me stay longer than I’d planned. It’s a clean, well-maintained colonial house with a lovely pool and outdoor area, and the breakfast is great. The staff are very, very friendly. Thanks for the stay. Best hostel in Brazil!

The staff were really nice and accommodating. Shared rooms are small and practical, with air conditioning. The common area is beautifully furnished and cozy, with a fully equipped kitchen, sofas and a TV, plus tables for eating or working. Out back, there’s a little pool, two hammocks, comfortable chairs, and lots of plants and flowers.

The breakfast is delicious, and the staff are lovely. The pool area is amazing for relaxing and meeting people. Such a comfortable hostel, definitely worth a visit.
