Pousada Sandra Convenções

The staff were very kind, and the location is great, practically inside the convention center. The room itself is simple but does the job. Still, the daily rate felt too high for the condition of things. The shower control needs replacing, the towel hook was broken, and the mirror had streaks as if it had been wiped with a very wet cloth. There was also an unpleasant sewer smell, though opening the window eased it a little. Breakfast was basic, and when I came down around 8:30 a.m., a lot was already gone. Only the coffee was replenished.

We stayed here for a show at Classic Hall and would happily return. It has a cozy, family feel, almost like visiting your grandma’s house, with places to relax, TV areas, TVs in the rooms, and a pool area. Everything was clean and well organized. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and helped my husband and me with whatever we needed. I recommend it for families, couples, or even a solo stay.

The best part was how at home we felt. The people were so kind and thoughtful, always ready to help, and my family and I were welcomed warmly from the start. Pousada Sandra Convenções was comfortable, tidy, and peaceful, with a friendly, family atmosphere and everything clean and well cared for. We’d gladly stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great place in Olinda.

The reception and kitchen staff were wonderful, always kind and helpful. The rest of the stay fell short. There was a leak in the room, a strong mold smell, and the shower never got hot. We stayed nine days but the room was cleaned only twice. The location works well for trips to either Recife or Olinda, but for the price, I expected better.
