Chalé Céu e Terra

We spent the weekend here and already want to come back as soon as we can. The chalet has a wonderful view, and Gerson and Débora looked after us so well. Breakfast was generous, excellent, and served right on time. The place was comfortable and clean, with plenty of warm, clean blankets, so there’s no need to worry about getting cold. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was nice and hot. I have allergic rhinitis and didn’t have a single flare-up.

We went for a weekend as a couple, and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. The chalé céu e terra is comfortable and feels safe, with a lovely view from the rooms. Breakfast was really good and brought to the room, which I liked even more. Débora was in touch from the start of the reservation, and everything we needed was taken care of. I wasn’t feeling well one day, and she and the team even helped me get medicine. They’re wonderful people. In Lavras Novas, most places are close by, so the location worked well. It’s near some well-known local restaurants and the church. A five-to-ten-minute walk gets you to almost all the bars and shops, and it’s also near the road out to the main trails and Custódio reservoir. Everything went smoothly from our first contact. Highly recommended.

Silvio and his wife welcomed us warmly for our two-night stay. The room was cozy, with a great bed and an incredible mountain view, above the clouds at sunrise. I really value breakfast, haha, and this one was fantastic: great scrambled eggs, coffee, and delicious cheese bread. A really good place to stay.

Dona Beth was incredibly warm. She greeted us by name and treated us like VIPs. She brings a breakfast tray to the chalet and asks what we like and prefer, then serves what we’ve told her. The chalet is simple and rustic, but decorated with care. I liked the tiles in the kitchen and bathroom, which give those rooms character. The view from the bedroom is stunning, and everything was very clean. The towels and bedding were clean, fresh-smelling, and new.
