The only real drawback was the walk uphill, about 10 minutes from the center and a tough climb. Otherwise, Dikasa was one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in: clean and comfortable, with a pleasant living room and a lovely view. The buffet breakfast was nice, with eggs, and there was free coffee all day. There’s laundry on site too. Gustavo, the owner, was especially kind and helpful, always around when we needed something, and made our stay really pleasant.

The facilities were spotless, and it was easy to explore the historic city from this well-placed hostel. I also found the accommodation comfortable and the staff friendly and attentive. My stay at Dikasa Hostel e Alugue Temporada was a wonderful experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable visit to Ouro Preto.

Everything was so tidy and clean, and the view was lovely. My family and I felt at home here, in such a warm, welcoming place. We were received very well, and the reception was excellent. We’ll come back again, and I definitely recommend it.

The nightly rate felt a little high to me. Breakfast was very simple and had few ingredients. There was no fruit to balance out the carbohydrates with fiber, or to provide natural vitamins.
