We felt welcome and relaxed the whole time during our three days at the pousada. After a 16-hour flight from Boston, MA, we arrived earlier than expected, and the owner kindly opened our room early for us. She also gave us a tour of the alambique factory, even though it wasn't scheduled. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help, even lending us a power cable for our phones when we realized we hadn't bought one with the right outlet. The food at both the restaurant and pousada was absolutely amazing. I still can't stop thinking about breakfast. It was a great getaway for visiting the area, including Ouro Preto and Mariana, and we’d definitely return when we're back in Brazil.

The customer service and attention to detail were exceptional, as were the location, grounds, food, and Wi-Fi. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend this resort.
