The beds and bathroom are very good, and the hotel works well for a quick overnight stop before continuing your trip. It’s in downtown Palhoça, so getting around without a car isn’t ideal, though beaches are about 40-50 minutes away by car. Breakfast is average and the parking lot can feel a bit crowded, but it’s a good option for the price.

The rooms are a good size and well looked after. The colonial breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of cakes and local treats like orelha de gato and pão de queijo, plus omelette and sausage.

I contacted the hotel on WhatsApp and was quoted R$ 240 per night, while Booking showed R$ 187. When I asked about it, they said they could match Booking’s price. I booked through Booking because of the points and card benefits. After booking, I was surprised to be told I had to pay 50% by Pix. The hotel said on WhatsApp that this was Booking policy, but nothing about it appeared on the platform, and I’d never had this kind of payment demand with other bookings. When I questioned it, they kept insisting it was required. I explained that I’d stayed there before and wanted to remain a customer, but they showed no flexibility or effort to sort it out. I ended up cancelling. The service was disappointing and didn’t feel very concerned about the customer.
