We tried to cancel after only two days, but they wouldn't return any of our money. Good luck getting a cancellation from them. Brazilian consumer law says you're entitled to a refund if you cancel within seven days of booking.

Jabaquara beach is just a few steps away, and I loved the quaint cafes nearby. It felt like an ideal base for exploring, away from the crowded touristy historic centre but still close enough to walk there easily. The neighbourhood is nice and the place is right by the beach. The rooms are simple, spotless, and look onto a lush garden, with a peaceful feel all the time. The pousada is gorgeous, full of cute little details, and the staff were kind, helpful, and great despite the language barrier. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you all!

The pool was a nice bonus, and our room was perfectly clean when we arrived. Alessandro speaks perfect English, so it was easy to communicate without Portuguese. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was beautiful and in a convenient location. Nothing to complain about, I'd recommend it.

The owner was very friendly, and the location is great, right across from the beach and beside several bars and restaurants. Walking to the centre took us 15 minutes. The pousada has a colorful, psychedelic look, with lots of plants and a kind of hippie, Raul Seixas vibe. Ideal if you like nature. Mosquitoes can be an issue, but that's how it is in a place with so many trees, so bring repellent. Just so you know, breakfast isn't served, though she kindly offered us cake with coffee and a melon.
