Amare, as it's now called, can only be reached by boat. You can eat by the beach or in the restaurant built over a rock, with a wonderful view. There are great meal choices, wines, craft beers, and some cachaças made in the region. They take all debit and credit cards. The service is friendly and cordial, with a family feel.

One of my best stays in Paraty. You get there only by water, and the place is incredibly beautiful, with a fantastic view. If you have a speedboat or can rent one, it's amazing. You're comfortably tucked away in a stunning setting. What a view...
