Hostel Bem Te Vi

Fantastic!

It was okay.

The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, and breakfast each morning was tasty with plenty of variety. There are hammocks in the garden and outside the room terrace, and they were comfortable with a lovely view. The place has the feel of a typical mountain hostel, with a wooden building and a tiny pool that might suit kids better. I wasn't happy with the uncomfortable beds or how clean the shared bathroom was. I hope they give it more attention in the future.

My stay was a very poor experience. The location was bad, though I did get to know Trindade, a beach that was a little closer. The place was dirty, with a shared bathroom and shared fridge. There could have been more barbecue grills. Nobody offered us a space, and when we went to grill, the owners asked us to make room for meat belonging to other guests. They were only helpful to the other guests. Our meat was taken out of the freezer, and we couldn't shower properly. We understand the water shortage, but going almost three days without a proper shower was too much. Breakfast was pretty weak. What bothered me most was how unfriendly the owners were toward us as guests. Others may see positive reviews and expect something different, but I don't recommend it.
