The rest of the hotel is nice, but choose your room carefully. Deluxe rooms 1 and 2 are on the ground floor and face the party street, where there’s music at night. I had trouble sleeping even with Oropax.

We were really looking forward to staying at Pousada Anchego, but unfortunately the weather meant we couldn’t make it to Paraty. We asked whether a full refund was possible, and the establishment kindly agreed. They were understanding and provided excellent customer service. Thank you very much!

The poolside bar, sauna, and hammocks made it easy to unwind, and breakfast was delicious. Pousada Aconchego is only a short walk from Paraty's historic center. My room was simple but comfortable, with a good bed and air conditioning. The staff were especially kind and helpful. They arranged a transfer from Rio for me and helped organize boat and jeep tours around the area. A charming, welcoming place.

The courtyard and pool are attractive, and the breakfast was good. Parking is available on site, and the kitchen and bar staff were helpful. My small room, number 15, was simple but comfortable, though the bathroom felt cramped. The air conditioning was quiet inside, but its outdoor unit was so noisy that it kept my relative awake in the adjoining room, number 16. The safe's 1 button didn't work, so I had to choose a PIN ending in 1. I told reception. It may be a design issue, since the safe in room 16 had the same problem.
