The staff were attentive and quick to help with any needs, and the rooms and shared areas were clean, organized, and well cared for. Breakfast was a highlight, fresh each day, varied, and full of tasty options. The Pousada is well located near the main points of interest and the beach. I recommend it and would definitely return.

Cris, the owner, really makes this place special. She's welcoming, friendly, attentive, easy to reach, and full of tips for getting the most out of the city. She goes out of her way to sort out any issues. The Pousada is comfortable and cozy, in an excellent location, and serves a very tasty breakfast. I highly recommend it.

Cristina, the owner, made my week at the Pousada so lovely that I wished I could stay longer. She's kind and thoughtful, always ready to help, show you around the property and city, suggest outings, and point you to trustworthy tour packages. I'm grateful for the wonderful days I spent there. The Pousada is easy to reach, in a great spot on Praia do Jabaquara. The rooms are clean and airy, with air conditioning, a minibar, TV, and internet, and everything felt new and tidy. Breakfast was wonderful, with lots of fruit and juice. The beach is a block away, with kiosks where you can rent a stand-up paddleboard or kayak. You can walk to the historic center in 20 minutes, and watch the sunrise too. Paraty is a historic city. I recommend taking a city tour to get to know it better, using the Civitatis app. There is beautiful nature, a rich culture, and events throughout the year, including literary, gourmet, cachaça, and music events. There are outings for all tastes, from waterfalls and trails to clear sea water with fish swimming right up close.

I was disappointed by several things during my stay over New Year's 2022 to 2023. There didn't seem to be a staff team, just the owner serving guests, and there was no reception. Breakfast started late and had few choices. The Wi-Fi was awful, working on only two of the eight days I was there. Cleaning was poor. When I arrived, there were two large spiders, as if the room hadn't been properly cleaned in a while. Guests have to take their own rubbish outside, and when I asked for more toilet paper, the owner questioned what I was doing with it because I asked for some every two days. The Pousada is new but still lacks things like towel rails, a toilet paper holder, a bin in the room, and a wardrobe. The owner is courteous, but needs to improve a lot in dealing with guests and understand that people have different needs. The location is good, and the room itself is good, with a minibar and air conditioning. Those few positives were overshadowed by everything else.
