Casa Pedra do Sol

I'd looked for a hostel downtown because of the location, but everything was full due to the competition, and Pouso Paraty was the only place with a vacancy. I went there because I had no other option, and honestly, it was incredible. It was surprisingly clean and organized, and the kitchen had everything needed to make your own food. Ordering Ifood is expensive, but there's a market nearby where you can buy things and cook. They also serve a delicious breakfast. The bed linens were bright white and smelled so good. It's not far from downtown, and the way there is peaceful, pretty, and safe. It beats any of the hostels in the central area by a lot. But the best thing was the service. I was almost embarrassed by how much care, attention, and thoughtfulness they showed me. I wished I could pay more, because what I paid in copper was worth gold. Any time I go to Paraty, I'll stay there.

Pousada Paraty was a charming, cozy, family-style place, perfect for special moments. We spent Christmas there and were welcomed so warmly and attentively. Breakfast was simple, but made with care and tasted great, which made the mornings even nicer. Dona Iracema, Tarcísio, and Ingrid deserve a special mention for their kindness and care. They made our stay unforgettable. It left us missing the place, and we'll certainly visit again.

The place is clean, pleasant, and well organized. The host is kind and attentive. I’d feel comfortable staying here.

Their hospitality really stood out. When our car broke down, we had no way to get home by bus with our pets, and the owner went out of his way to help us find a good solution, including an excellent transfer service. His mother helped us a lot too. They treat their guests so well.
