We ended up staying because it was too late to find somewhere else nearby, and Seu Osmar’s father, the owner, was so kind and understanding through all the trouble. The price was very fair, and the distance from the center was acceptable. Beaches were 30 km or more away by car, but getting around was fine. The room matched the photos and was easy to access, but the self check-in was awful because Laisa took ages to reply. Her service was poor throughout: slow responses and no real willingness to help. The cleaning and bed linen were just okay. The toilet cistern wouldn’t refill, so we couldn’t flush, and that made the stay miserable. Laisa took more than an hour and a half to come by, spoke rudely, said they’d fix it, then left us without a solution for the rest of the stay and stopped replying on WhatsApp. Out of concern, and luckily for us, Seu Osmar’s father came twice and tried to repair it, but couldn’t. He was very kind and knew how to treat guests, unlike his daughter. I asked to cancel because I didn’t want to spend a long holiday weekend with a broken bathroom, but she refused to cancel or refund us, insisting it would be fixed. She didn’t seem to care and acted as though we had no right to complain.

The room was clean and new, the natural-water pool was nice, and breakfast was tasty. The stay was pleasant until the last day, when I got a WhatsApp message at 1 pm asking when I’d be back because new guests were due at 2 and they needed to prepare the room. When I booked, we had agreed I could leave at 6 pm. No one had said during the stay that checkout would need to be earlier, so we left soon after the message. It was really unpleasant, and even though the rest of the visit had been good, I won’t return if they can’t keep the booking agreement. There was also no internet or Wi-Fi signal, apparently because of the location.

We rented the house through Airbnb. Everything was clean and well organized, and it’s a peaceful spot about an 8-minute drive from the historic center. Seu Osmar and Larissa were attentive and helpful. We’ll definitely come back and recommend it!

Larissa and her father made us feel so welcome, which really topped off the stay. The inn is lovely, with everything new, clean, and pleasant. The distance from the center of Paraty was just right. I’d happily recommend it to everyone.

Osmar and Larissa were so attentive, and the inn was clean and really cozy. The breakfast was generous and the location was great. My boyfriend and I loved it and will be back.
