Astúrias Praia Hotel

The stay itself went fine, but my wife left a Melissa worth 300 reais under the bed in the downstairs room. They said they couldn't find it. I contacted the hotel and the travel agent who arranged our trip, and neither showed any interest. They just repeated that it hadn't been found. We even knew people at the same beach who could have picked it up and brought it back to me, but they acted like they were being clever. I don't recommend staying here because of this. They're not trustworthy.

I'm sure I left my Melissa sandal at the hotel, but they simply said they couldn't find it. I'll never go back.

The location is great, on the street behind the well-known Afpesp and Feirinha das Astúrias. There's a pharmacy, market, little bars, an ice cream shop, laundry, and even a nail salon within 200 meters. A few things need fixing, like outlets that don't work and a shower drain that gets clogged. Breakfast could be better too, with more seating and options. Still, if you're after a good price and location, it's worth it.
