Pousada Pillar

Back for my second stay, and I want to thank everyone again for the warm welcome. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place with easy access to the waterfalls and central Paraty. If you’re looking for somewhere calm, this is the right pousada. I feel like I’m at home here. Many thanks to dona Thais, who’s always so friendly, pleasant, and kind. May God keep blessing you.

Such a lovely welcome from Thais and Cleide, thank you both. I loved the wonderful breakfast, especially the coconut cake. Already looking forward to coming back.

We stayed with my husband over the Carnival holiday. The pousada is charming, simple, and cozy, and everything was very clean. Thais, the owner, is warm and attentive. She makes wonderful cakes for breakfast and gave us lots of outing tips. There’s a small pool that’s really nice after a day of sightseeing and beach time. The other staff were friendly and attentive too. It has a family feel, and even the other guests we met were lovely. We’re already thinking about returning soon, especially since we loved Paraty.

I want to thank everyone for the welcome and the stay. The place is cozy and the service was outstanding. A special thanks to dona Cleide for the kindness she showed my family.
