Pousada Recanto de Paraty

The view is spectacular, and I’d recommend this place. This was my second stay, and I’d happily come back again 🫶 It rained during this visit, so I couldn’t enjoy everything as much as I’d hoped. Maybe I’ll have better luck with the weather next time 🤍 The whole inn is very clean. I’ve seen people complain about traffic noise, but it’s right beside the highway, and honestly, I didn’t think the noise was that bad. There aren’t many staff, but I didn’t feel anything was lacking. The rooms are cleaned daily, towels are changed as they should be, and the team is attentive and always polite. Breakfast was tasty, though the serving time felt a little short.

The staff are very attentive, even though the team is small. The inn is surrounded by Atlantic Forest, so it’s natural to see spiders, ants, tree frogs, and the like. We also spotted small marmosets and birds. The pool is warm and lovely for unwinding after a day out. The location is excellent, with a wonderful view. The inn is simple, the rooms are clean and have air conditioning, and it stays quiet at night despite being close to the road. Breakfast is tasty, but it starts late for early risers, only at 8 a.m. In summer, the sun reaches the rooms as early as 5 a.m. There are blackout curtains, but they don’t block enough light.

The view is on another level, and I’d definitely return. The inn has good facilities, clean rooms, and helpful, very attentive staff. Cris and Roberia were especially polite. Some of these comments seem pretty demanding given the price. If you want everything to be impeccable, go find a 10-star hotel! This inn is great. My rating is 10.

A really pleasant, clean, welcoming inn, with a good breakfast and helpful staff. The boat tour gift is a great extra. The only downside is the inn’s internet, which is awful.
