The owners are friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The pousada is near the bus station and about 12 minutes from the historic center. I'd recommend it.

A cozy, pleasant pousada at a good price. It's close enough to walk to the city center, and breakfast is delicious.

The service was top quality, and cleaning was beyond question. Dr Joaquim, the owner, is such a lovely person. I'd gladly come back.

I stayed four days and loved it. Seu Joaquim and his wife were so pleasant and polite when they welcomed us. He manages the pousada and keeps everything in order. It's simple, but clean and tidy, with charming rooms. We'd go out, then come back to a made-up room with fresh towels. It's peaceful, the location is great and close to everything, and breakfast has a bit of everything. The 8:30 start was a little late for me, but everything else was great. I'll return with my children and stay there again.
