We kept saying we'd give this place six stars if we could. Patricia and everyone on her team were so thoughtful and generous, with little personal touches and organic, natural food throughout. The rooms are lovely, and the bathrooms were the nicest we've come across in South America. Breakfast was our favorite of the five weeks we've been traveling. Getting to everything was easy, too. We were genuinely wondering if this was the best hospitality we've ever had. So grateful to Patricia and the team.

The house is decorated so beautifully, and you can tell it's cared for with a lot of love. Our room was tidy, and Patrice and her team served a breakfast I still think about, especially the fresh fruit and baked breads. Such a wonderful stop on our South America travels.

Patricia made it hard not to get attached to her. She's so sweet, helpful, and attentive to whether we're comfortable. Watching her put bananas out for the birds in the patio made me think of her as a free, colorful, wonderful bird herself. The pousada is right in the historical city center, close to everything, and the house is decorated with real taste. Breakfast was a feast, with fresh homemade dishes, fruit and cakes, and even some vegan plates. I highly recommend it 👌

Paulo Autran served a royal breakfast, with tasty homemade food, some vegan dishes, and a huge choice of fresh fruit. The whole house felt friendly and comfortable, with tasteful decor that made it feel like home. Everything seemed thought through from our arrival to the time we left Paraty. Patricia is adorable, and I'm in love with this place. I'll definitely be back!
