Nautillus Hotel

We really liked this hotel, and after traveling a lot around Brazil and abroad, it was one of our favorites. The breakfast was spectacular, and the pool area was comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, tidy, and well cared for, the beds were good, and service was great. I saw Hanna Ferras's comments, but I don't think the hotel is as she described it. We recommend it and will come back.

The front desk staff were so kind and attentive, and the service was wonderful. Breakfast was very good too. It was worth every cent, and I'd definitely recommend it.

I wasn't there long, but the room was comfortable and the receptionist was very attentive. They were open in the middle of the night, which deserves praise.

The room was the worst part: water pooled around the toilet, the shower stall had mold, there was visible dirt and residue on the walls, the sink drain was filthy, and the towels were stained. There were also hairs from previous guests, belongings left behind, and a damp patch in the wall. It felt like nobody cared about basic hygiene or maintenance. The restaurant had a strong smell somewhere between old grease and sewage, so it was hard to stay there. On top of that, a bar across from Nautillus Hotel in Parnaíba held live music events every night. The show began around midnight and was so loud it felt like we were inside the room, and the hotel hadn't warned us. Check-in was another problem: we arrived around 11:30 in the morning, handed over all our documents and got everything ready, but the receptionist wouldn't let us check in early even though several rooms were available. The unhelpful attitude stood out. When we came back at 7 pm, there was a huge line, and nothing had been done with our reservation. No record, no process started. The morning receptionist was apathetic and unwilling to help. The evening one tried to be more attentive, but by then the experience had already been spoiled. The hotel seemed disorganized and unprepared, with too little care for cleanliness or basic comfort. We left disappointed and wouldn't recommend staying here. There are many better options in town.
