Pousada Beira Rio Parnaiba

The hotel is nice, and they handled the room problem right away. When I arrived, the air conditioning in my room wasn’t working, so I had to move rooms. Nobody made a fuss about the change, which was a point in management’s favor. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, and the lunch they offer was great too. The parking lot is across from the hotel and has only a few spaces. If you get back late, you may have to park behind another car and move yours if that driver needs to leave first. I also missed having hooks in the bathroom for clothes and towels. The hotel is in central Parnaíba, so keep the distance in mind if you’re going to an event or visiting the beaches at Luís Correia or Barra Grande.

There are a few bars and restaurants nearby, and the location worked well for me. Beatriz at reception was very attentive and answered all the questions I asked. My room was spacious and very clean, with excellent air conditioning. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order. Some extra hooks for wet clothes or a bikini would have been useful.

A lovely inn with good service and a family feel.

The price was very affordable, and everything from the service to the cleanliness was excellent. The towels were the best I’ve ever seen, our car was safe, and breakfast was very good. If I come back to Parnaíba, I’ll definitely stay here again. The hotel recommended a nearby restaurant where we had an amazing crab cake. I’d suggest keeping a map or floor plan at reception.
