I booked through Airbnb, and after several weeks with the reservation confirmed, they canceled it without giving me any reason.

I didn’t stay at the inn, just went there for dinner with my 3-year-old daughter. She barely ate, just about ten fries from her own plate because they were cold. When we went to pay, the owner charged for her meal. We asked whether he’d charge a child who hadn’t really eaten, and he sarcastically said it would only be 3 reais, though he usually charged 5, since he had to wash the plate. The food was awful too. I’m sure it was leftovers from lunchtime, including the fries and fish.

The location was great, just a five-minute walk from the park, and dinner was tasty home-style food for 14.99 per person. The room was clean and the shower was good, but the beds and pillows weren’t comfortable. There were no TV channels, and to watch Netflix you have to sign in with your own account. Breakfast was very basic. When we arrived, nobody was there to greet us, and with the restaurant busy we had to wait for someone to bring the key.
