There were lots of cockroaches. When we got to the room, we found three alive on the wall and two on the floor. We’d paid 460,00 for two nights in a room for four, two adults and two children. I didn’t stay at all and desperately looked for another hotel to make sure my family had somewhere hygienic. We asked for a refund. The next day I returned and was kept waiting for an hour at the desk, standing there while they confirmed the cancellation. While I waited, I overheard the owner talking with the housekeeper. They said a hotel without cockroaches is a luxury for guests because there are cockroaches everywhere. Be careful when booking a hotel on Booking! The reviews shown first are the best ones out of all the reviews, regardless of date. I’ll have to go to PROCON to request a full refund.

The kitchen smelled awful, and breakfast was disgusting, with mosquitoes all over the food. There was hardly anything available, no chocolate powder, bread, or butter. There’s no minibar, and the inn’s fridge was frightening inside and smelled terrible. The rooms were moldy, had no outlets, and the bathrooms were filthy. The room hadn’t been cleaned when we got the key. The air conditioner smelled musty and had a layer of dust on top. The old TV didn’t work, the beds were gross, and they hadn’t changed the previous guests’ sheets. The mattresses were so bad you could feel their condition. The pillows stank, and there were several dead mosquitoes on the bedroom and bathroom walls. The curtains were old and dirty.

This place isn’t good. There wasn’t even a face towel or soap. The bathroom was awful and cramped, with a tiny shower stall, and there were loads of mosquitoes, even in the dining room. Of all the inns I’ve stayed at in Penha, this is the worst.

If you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep before going to the park the next day, this inn works well. When we stayed, it was the cheapest option, and it’s located almost inside the park.

There were more than 10 COCKROACHES in the room I was supposed to stay in. I absolutely don’t recommend it.
