We rarely return to the same place, but we’ve stayed at Doce lar twice and will be back soon. The location, price, service, hygiene, and cleanliness all keep us coming back. The bathroom was wonderful, the shower perfect, the soap good quality, and the bath towels smelled freshly clean. We care about that detail, and it’s a relief not having to bring towels from home. The whole place is so peaceful, definitely our spot on the coast ❤️ Both rooms were spotless, the red room on our first stay and the rose room this time.

We felt right at home and were warmly welcomed. The pousada is lovely, with comfortable, spacious, very clean rooms. It fully lived up to what it promised. Several places around town are close by, and it’s easy to get to tourist spots and shops on foot or by car.

We were two adults and two teenagers, and the accommodation worked perfectly for us. Pousada Doce Lar has everything we were looking for: a good price, cleanliness, a cozy feel, a great location, and friendly service. You can see the care that’s gone into every detail. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Getting there was easy, and the place was really clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable too, just right for resting after a day at Beto carreiro.
