Pousada Casa do Luiggi

The room was spotless, and the staff were really polite and attentive. The air conditioning, shower, and everything else worked perfectly. Breakfast was very good, and the park is close by. There’s secure, enclosed parking too. It’s great value for money. You wouldn’t guess how good it is from the outside, and it’ll definitely be my first choice next time I visit Penha.

We felt very welcome at Pousada Casa do Luigi. The team was warm and always ready to help, and the room was comfortable and impeccably clean. I have allergies to gluten and lactose, so the kitchen staff took special care to make banana and corn cakes just for me. That meant a lot. Breakfast was excellent, and the location is great, very close to Beto Carrero World. We highly recommend the inn.

I stayed here over New Year’s, and it was simply wonderful. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, breakfast was fantastic, and the room was very well equipped. One especially handy extra was a laundry area with a utility sink and clothesline. There are several shops nearby too. I’d absolutely recommend it and will be back.

What a letdown, especially after choosing this place based on the reviews. It was expensive, and they put my family of four in a tiny, cramped room. Our kids are 13 and 11, and we could barely move around. I’d brought only one suitcase upstairs after seeing the room, and even took clothes out of the other bags so I wouldn’t have to bring them up. The bathroom was tiny too. We were in room 9, right across from the breakfast area. After 6 a.m. there was no sleeping, with the noise of plates, cups, and the TV. The door opens straight into the breakfast space. It felt like they wanted to make money by putting people anywhere and turning any space into a room. The stairs to the first floor had unevenly proportioned steps and were awful. A real disappointment.
