Pousada Pedra da Fortaleza

It's a simple but cozy place, with friendly, attentive staff. Having a market right underneath is really handy. I felt safe even though the pousada was empty and the bedroom doors were glass. They provide towels and soap. The room was clean and well kept, but the bunk bed felt a little flimsy for adults. The bathroom could be better, since there's no window and an unpleasant smell lingers inside. Other than that, all good. It's close to the beach, a pizzeria, and a really good café. A good choice if you want to stay in Penha without spending much.

We found it easily when we arrived in the city, since the pousada is well located. It's near the corner of a street with places serving snacks, lunch, and dinner, and there's a supermarket right underneath. The place was really good, cozy, clean, organized, and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and affordably priced. A good choice if you're visiting Beto Carrero.

We felt right at home here. Seu Luiz and his team were welcoming without any fuss, and they even waited for us when we arrived around 12:30 a.m. The room was clean, towels were changed daily, and breakfast at the pousada next door was delicious. They also pointed us toward some great places to eat. Congratulations to the whole team!

There’s a market in the same building, and the pousada has two Wi-Fi networks. It’s clean, tidy, and cozy. Breakfast isn’t served here, but you can get a very good one at Villarejo Armação on the next street for R$10 per adult.
