I’d stayed at this guesthouse before, but this time I left very unhappy. The kitchen sink leaked, there were only two pans, the cups were small, and I had to borrow a skimmer from a neighbor. Our room wasn’t properly clean when we arrived, and the bathroom smelled like sewage. When it rained, water ran down the wall. The owner wasn’t there to greet us when we arrived, and later told me that if I wasn’t happy I could find another guesthouse and get the amount already paid deducted. We were at the beach, and she even asked my husband to put on shorts when he was wearing swim briefs. For all these reasons I don’t recommend the place and won’t return. I hope they improve things for future guests.

The owners gave us a lot of attention, and we were warmly welcomed when we arrived. The guesthouse is near Beto Carrero theme park, in a peaceful area. It seemed to me that it had been a home adapted to host tourists. It was beautiful, cozy and clean, with very comfortable rooms. We had a very pleasant stay, and the location is excellent. I recommend it to anyone going to the park. They deserve congratulations.

We stayed for three nights, and my kids loved the guesthouse and its facilities. Isabel and her family welcomed us so warmly, and Erick, Isabel’s son, gave them lots of attention. It’s very close to the park, but with the children I chose not to walk and paid 8 reais for an Uber. The cozy room had a hammock, microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast was wonderful, served at the family’s guesthouse across the way. We’ll definitely be back, highly recommend it!

The breakfast was more than perfect, with loads of variety and everything delicious. The owners are welcoming, helpful and incredibly polite, such lovely people. The room was cozy, organized and fully equipped. It’s close enough to Beto Carrero to walk. I’ll come back again and definitely recommend it.

I spent the weekend in Nova Friburgo and stayed at the guesthouse. The chalet was cozy, and the shower water gets really hot, which is a big plus since Nova Friburgo gets extremely cold, haha. It was clean, breakfast was very good, and the stay was fairly priced. Highly recommend!
