The only good part was the service from Alerrandro and Ana. The bedding was dingy, and the pool was filthy, with no maintenance and unusable. Breakfast was practically nonexistent, with very few options, and by 8:30 there was nothing left even though it starts at 8:00. A terrible experience. I won’t stay here again or recommend this inn to anyone.

We chose Pousada Sonhos de Penha as a base for a family trip to Beto Carrero World with my husband and two children, but the stay was thoroughly disappointing. The promised breakfast basket never arrived, which caused a lot of trouble, especially with kids along. We were also very concerned that anyone could come and go freely, with no access control or security, putting guests and their belongings at risk. The rooms were dirty, the beds extremely uncomfortable, and the air conditioner dripped onto the floor, making a mess and creating a possible accident hazard. The inn failed at basic hospitality, cleanliness, and safety. I can’t recommend it to families or anyone looking for basic comfort, the services they booked, and a safe stay.

This was the worst place I’ve ever stayed, and I’m never coming back. I booked a room with a kitchen but got one with a small minibar instead. The photos showed a stove and fridge. When I complained, the attendant lent me his own. I also paid for two extra beds, but got two mattresses on the floor. The bathroom had a burnt-out bulb, a wobbly toilet, a loose faucet, and a blocked drain. The cabinets were broken, and the table had only two chairs.

It was an average, ordinary stay. The staff were friendly and breakfast was tasty. There’s a good pool for adults and a smaller one for children, though they weren’t cleaned every day. Several beaches are nearby, as are plenty of places to eat.
