CASABLANCA Praia Hotel

A dump, extremely poorly maintained. The surrounding area is filthy, with trash everywhere. We're contacting the city through the councilman who lives in this neighborhood.

A total rip-off. For the price, there's no Wi-Fi or breakfast, the place is dirty, and the air conditioning doesn't work. There's no reception either. They show you around in a hurry without explaining much, then leave nobody there to help you.

For what they charge, I thought it was fair for what they offer. The room fit two adults and three children comfortably, and the place was clean. Breakfast is simple, but good for the price. We loved being right across from the beach, and the pool was lovely. Gabriel was pleasant and kind and gave us a warm welcome. I'd definitely come back.

We walked into the room and there was nothing to put things on, no wardrobe, bedside table, or any other surface, just the bed. The sheets were dirty and covered in stains. The pillows were disgusting, filthy, yellowed, and in awful condition. It looked like they still needed proper sheets and pillowcases, because what was on the bed seemed like covers. The towels were coming apart and looked ready to be used as floor rags. When we opened the blackout curtain, the window was so filthy we could barely see outside. It looked like nobody had wiped it in at least 6 months. We packed our things and asked for a refund when we arrived, and they did refund that amount. But they wouldn't return the reservation payment, claiming they'd turned away another guest. A dreadful experience. Never again.
