The mattresses were the main letdown: they looked like the plastic ones at campsites. They were comfortable, but guests should be told when choosing a room, since ours was a little different from the booking photos. The guesthouse is very close to the sea, with excellent cleanliness and amenities. The price is affordable and feels fair for what's included, like the outdoor kitchen and pool.

Kelly, the hostel owner, was really friendly and attentive, and we got a very warm welcome. Breakfast was very good, and the hygiene was impeccable for a beach setting. There wasn't even a grain of sand in the room. She was also very helpful about my dietary restriction and gave me all the support I needed. I highly recommend it. There are a few things that could be improved, which I mentioned on Booking, but we saw they were doing maintenance, so I have no complaint. It's well worth a visit and much better than many hotels in town.

The pool was empty, and breakfast was barely worth mentioning, with maybe four food options at most. For what we paid, it just wasn’t worth it. Such a bad experience, I really don’t recommend it.

Kelly, who owns the casarão, welcomed us so warmly. The place is lovely to stay at, and the hygiene, breakfast, and service were all top-notch. I’d highly recommend it.
