The views are amazing in any weather, and the location is hard to beat. Getting to the beach is a good uphill walk that gets your heart going, then you can keep walking along the beautiful shore or cool off in the surf. The rooms are basic but clean, and they cool down once the A/C is on. Pousada Waldhaus was so peaceful, just right for resting and getting some good sleep. Breakfast had a nice mix of fresh fruit, our favorite, scrambled eggs, bread, cheese and ham, pastries, and some amazing Brazilian coffee. Thank you, Paola and Remo. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Remo was a nice guy to talk with, and he gave us a really warm welcome. It’s a great place to relax and recharge. My only complaint was the shower. It was a bit cold, even though I was there in winter, in July. I’m sure that wouldn’t be an issue in summer.

This place is for rich kids. There are way too many little rules, including a time you have to be back even though you’re paying to stay there. I’ve never seen that before. They also don’t provide bed sheets or bath towels unless you pay extra. Terrible.

The view and the place keep charming us every time we stay here. Remo, Ana Paula, and their family are so welcoming, and the breakfast is really good. The rooms are rustic and suit the setting. If you understand what the place offers before booking, I think you’ll love it. We’ve stayed several times, and even when Guaraú beach gets packed around New Year’s, we’ve still managed to enjoy it. We always feel like coming back. Grateful for everything!
