The staff were genuinely nice and helpful, and breakfast had plenty of choices. The sweets were very good, but the savory food wasn’t as good. We also tried lunch at the hotel once. The chicken was dry and tasted like styrofoam, and the prices were higher than at the better restaurants in town, so I wouldn’t recommend eating there. The rooms weren’t especially comfortable, and there wasn’t even room to hang our clothes. The place has a fake imperial Brazil look, the sort of Disney-style decor some people like. My 96-year-old in-laws loved it, but I hated it. I definitely won’t be back.

It feels more comfortable than some higher-ranked places. There are fewer rooms, so the staff can give more attention to the details, like the coffee break and the tea at 17:00h, which comes with really good snacks. A very special place.

The rooms, staff, and service were all great. The main street, with the best restaurants in town, is an easy walk away. We’ll definitely come back.
