That campfire under the most beautiful sky I've ever seen was a highlight, and spending time out in nature really helped me unwind. We also had a lovely waterfall all to ourselves, very close to cachoeira do abade. The chalets are great, and the staff are polite and welcoming. Ciça and Bis gave us especially thoughtful, warm attention.

The chalet at sítio Lavrinhas was wonderful, with very good bathrooms, a fully equipped setup, and a fantastic kitchen. There are several trails on the property, as well as a nearby waterfall that's easy to enjoy. The whole stay was great. It's a very quiet place where you can switch off from the world for a few days, and Cecília, the person we dealt with most, was kind, friendly, and helped us with everything we needed.

A great place if you're after some peace and quiet. The waterfall trails are easy and very close, and there's a spectacular lookout that's ideal for meditating.

A place full of happy people! Bismaque, who hosts at the sítio, is a cultured person with a lot of wisdom. He's a friend I'll carry with me for life. Get in touch with the owner to arrange a visit. There's an excellent house for lodging, and the place has a real history in Pirenópolis, including Brazil's first hydroelectric dam.

The couple who own the place deserve congratulations for such a warm welcome. It's a great spot to get away from the rush of city life, and the swim was indescribably good.
