Pousada Arvoredo Eco Suites

The rooms were very clean, and some have a whirlpool tub, but for the nightly price I expected more. Breakfast was the same every day. I also missed having a cozy place outside the room where we could sit and talk.

They still welcomed us close to midnight after our flight was delayed and we arrived later than planned, which I appreciated. Breakfast was good, and one morning there were marmosets all over the nearby tree. I'd give the stay about 3.5. The room had no window or mosquito screen, and the lighting wasn't great, which didn't feel right for the price.

We stayed as a family and loved the charm of the place. We were in the Buriti suite, with its door opening onto the street, and really liked it. A pleasant spot, and I hope to return.

The room was comfortable, and the inn is a good place to stay, close to the historic center. Breakfast was very good and the pool is heated. But the bathroom needs repairs: showering left the whole floor wet. The cleaning staff also made a lot of noise before 8 a.m., which disturbed our rest. I suggest starting patio and garden maintenance after 10 a.m., and asking the cleaners to work more quietly.
