Pousada Orla Morada do Sol

The staff are friendly and helpful, and seem to be doing what they can. It feels like the owners live far away and don’t understand what the inn needs. A lot of maintenance is missing, the cleaning was poor, and the whole place gave us an almost abandoned impression.

The place needs renovations, and the pool in the room was really dirty. There’s no reception, and breakfast was very poor.

I booked the inn through Decolar.com, but when I arrived it was CLOSED. I was left outside and tried calling the number posted on the gate. They told me to take it up with the platform. After I asked for a refund, Decolar said the inn had refused to return my money. How can they keep it when the place was shut? This deserves zero stars. I’m determined to pursue a refund through the courts.

This was the worst place I’ve ever been to. There were so many bugs that I couldn’t stay, and the employee said they were still getting into the chalet. I tried to cancel the booking, but the owner wouldn’t get back to the agency. They only replied to the employee, and very rudely.
