Ibis Styles Poços De Caldas

A clean, pleasant Standard Ibis in a good location. The bunk bed could use a ladder like the ones at their other hotels, since the iron bar supports hurt your feet. Getting up there takes some agility, and watch your head on the ceiling.

I've been to pocos about a dozen times, and this was one of my best hotel stays there. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, and the staff gave great service. They're wonderful and deserve a lot of credit for making the stay so positive. A really good option for Poços de Caldas.

I've traveled extensively around the world, and this hotel is among the best I've stayed in.

We had trouble sleeping because the room wasn't soundproofed well. Noise from other guests and the cleaning crew woke us, and the blackout curtain let in plenty of light at the top and sides. In our four person room, the upper bunk was so close to the ceiling you couldn't sit up without hitting your head, and its ladder was uncomfortable to climb barefoot. The sink was tiny and partly clogged, so washing our faces made a mess on the floor. Check-in was slow because one employee was handling both reception and the bar. There were no towels in our room, and nobody answered the phone at reception, so we went downstairs. Getting towels took a while since the receptionist was busy at the bar. Luckily, we ran into someone from the cleaning crew, who got them for us. It seemed like a lot of guests had the same problem. There were no hand towels available at all.
