Walter World took a hard hit during the Corona Crisis. When I was there in May 2022, the park was open to hotel guests for just three hours in the afternoon. At least 30% of the rides weren't working, and some of the ones that were seemed poorly maintained. I liked the little railway through part of the park, and the Zoo was a nice surprise. There's also a military museum, which felt a bit odd for a family park, plus some old car exhibits. The Hotel is inside Walter World. The hotel itself was fine, with a huge indoor pool area and pleasantly warm water, a few outdoor pools, and a water slide. All-inclusive food was very good, and the drinks were okay. The downside was how much noise carried through the room walls. We could hear everything from the neighbors. Evening entertainment was so loud it was impossible to talk over dinner, and it was uncomfortable for babies. Still, it's worth going and supporting the Hotel and Park as they work toward getting back to regular business.

Kids will love the huge, warm swimming pool, and there's a park attached with good attractions like a zoo. It's a great family travel spot, with a big room and comfortable beds.
