Pousada Casa Nui by Concavus

I went in expecting a bad stay because I'd read so many negative reviews, though the price was excellent, so I decided to take a chance and was braced for the worst. The stay turned out to be wonderful, and my expectations were completely overturned. Cíntia greeted us warmly at reception and showed us to a room I really liked. It was spacious and clean, with a roomy bathroom and good beds. The pousada felt cozy, and the pool was nice too. Breakfast was simple but tasty. Silvana, who works in the kitchen, was kind, friendly, and attentive. I'd recommend the place and would come back.

We spent our days out exploring, so Casa Nui suited us well. If you want a comfortable room to sleep in without much luxury, plus a delicious breakfast, this is the place. The rooms were clean, the air conditioning was new, and breakfast was very good.

The breakfast was good, but the place is in very poor shape. Some tables were broken and had no tablecloths, and the cook/waitress didn't seem willing to serve us. The rooms were tiny, with no space, and very noisy. The mattress was awful and noisy too. It was impossible to rest.

Casa Nui is simple but really welcoming. Our room was pleasant, the leisure area was satisfactory, and breakfast was simple but tasty. The woman working in the kitchen was very attentive. We had a lovely stay and would come back. My husband and I stayed for two nights in January to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary. We were welcomed and the woman at reception explained all the house rules, though I can't remember her name. The pousada could use some care and repairs, but nothing that got in the way of our stay.
