Pousada Beach Garden

The location was the one good point, and the women were very attentive, but that was about it. My stay in room 2 was awful and unpleasant. The bedding was stained and the blanket was terrible. The air conditioner shut off every five minutes. In my sister-in-law's room, the shower valve was broken and the shower screen door was completely off its track, which was dangerous. For the first few days someone was at reception, but the door was left open and there was no security. A few days later they installed a facial recognition device, and reception was left completely unattended. That felt very unsafe. Breakfast was poor quality, with little variety. I asked for tapioca and it tasted bitter, and the cheese seemed spoiled. Because of the food quality, we spent extra money going to a coffee shop on the other days. The dishes were broken and patched up, too. The stay was terrible and the price wasn't worth it. The photos on Google don't reflect the reality we experienced at the inn.

The location made everything easy, with the beach and town center just a few minutes' walk away. Having a restaurant next door was convenient too. The inn's leisure area was excellent, with a pool and two hot tubs, one heated. Our room, bathroom, bedding, and outdoor areas were very clean. The bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. It was a great stay, and I definitely plan to return.

I went for New Year's and came away disappointed. The pool and hot tub were the only good part. Breakfast had few choices and nothing seemed fresh, and one employee was huffing and looked grumpy. There was a stain on the room sheets. I asked for them to be changed, but they only made the bed and left the same sheets. Their restaurant was extremely slow. Disappointing.

The reception and kitchen staff were caring and attentive, and helped us with everything we needed. It's a good, peaceful option if you're not looking for luxury. The inn is very close to the beach, with a back door that practically opens onto the sea, and the center is about a five-minute walk away. The hot tub was great, and the air conditioning, shower, and minibar all worked perfectly. Everyone was welcoming. Breakfast had limited variety, and the pool was under maintenance on two days of our stay. The bedding was stained, and the bed and pillows weren't comfortable.
