I had a great time.

For the price, this is the best value in Porto de Galinhas. This was my second stay, and both times have been great. The place is simple, as you’d expect at this price, but there’s plenty of space and everything feels clean, cozy, and made with care. The hammocks, trees, and pool are all lovely. Breakfast was a favorite, with high-quality options and a pleasant dining area. The inn is near the village and beach but away from their bustle, which makes it a good place to recharge. There are also nearby snack bars and little markets with very reasonable prices. The owners are around and always attentive. I felt at home, and that helped me relax and made my time in Porto even better.

The location is close to the center, and parking was included. The woman who came to welcome us was also very sweet and helpful. Still, I wouldn’t recommend this inn or come back. No one was at reception when we arrived, so we waited about ten minutes. I called the inn, no one answered, and then a woman appeared to check us in. Our room faced the pool and some hammocks where other guests spent time, so there was no privacy. Inside, it smelled unbearably moldy, the floor was dirty, and the bathroom smelled strongly because there was no ventilation. The window had no lock and opened onto an area accessible to everyone at the inn. We felt unsafe and complained, but there was no other room available, so we stayed only because the agency had no alternative. We had to buy a broom handle at the market to brace the window. The minibar was very old, and drinks we put in it tasted rusty. Wi-Fi didn’t work on any day of our stay. Breakfast was somewhere between fair and poor, with very few choices and almost the same food every day. Apart from the woman who received us, the staff were hard to communicate with, curt, and unwelcoming. I hope anyone else who chooses to stay has a better experience, because mine wasn’t like the ones others describe.
