Villa Maraca’s hospitable team made us feel welcome from the start, especially Meiry and Susy. After checkout, they let us leave our bags at reception so we could spend another full day at the warm, clean beaches and exploring Porto de Galinhas. Porto is a pleasant 30-minute walk along the beach, or a US $2 Uber ride. There are plenty of beachside restaurants and bars nearby. The room was simple, but the beds were comfortable, the shower was hot, and it had basic toiletries, a well-working AC unit, and a mini-fridge. We didn’t spend much time inside since there was plenty to do nearby. I also appreciated the affordable price and being able to book online at the last minute on the day we arrived, which most other hotels around there didn’t allow. It made for a great spontaneous trip with family and friends. Great service, right on the beach, and a yummy big breakfast. Thanks, Villa Maraca, until next time!

A pretty good place right on the beach. Some staff speak basic English and were able to help despite a possible language barrier. Everyone was polite. Internet reached about 1 Mbps down and roughly half that up. Parking is limited, and you don’t want to get stuck driving in the sand.

The balcony room had an ocean view, and the room itself was comfortable, with air conditioning, a fridge, and cable TV. Breakfast was excellent, with really great food. There’s a pool and spa facing the ocean. Surfers can store their boards safely, and there are lots of small shops nearby that rent and repair boards. Recommended for Porto de Galinhas visitors with a car, or for surfers heading to Maracaipe beach.
