The location is good, and breakfast was a bright spot. The staff were also polite and helpful. But even knowing this was meant to be a simple inn, I expected basic cleanliness and upkeep, and those were missing. The facilities are old, with damp walls, stuffy rooms, and general maintenance problems. Gestora Denise said there wasn’t any damp, though it was clearly there. Our room hadn’t been properly cleaned before check-in, which should be a basic standard anywhere. There were also serious issues during the stay. The shower sparked and burned out, and the bathroom toilet kept leaking, which affected both comfort and our sense of safety. The owner came across as hostile and unwelcoming, and only asked if everything was alright on the last day, after the problems had already spoiled the experience.

It’s cheap and well located, but needs repairs and better cleaning. The electrical system was shorting. I got shocked twice trying to plug in the minibar, and my phone was damaged while charging.
