There were so many mosquitoes that we had to keep the air conditioning on all night and cover ourselves with a stained sheet. The towels for the bath and face, along with the sheets, were all stained and made from terrible fabric. The bathroom bin was disgusting, the floor felt sticky, and it looked like someone had mopped with a wet, greasy rag. The bathroom water from the shower, toilet, and sink was yellowish. The room was disgusting and felt unsafe, almost unfit to live in. The glass entrance door had gaps along the sides, and the street-facing glass window wouldn’t lock because its latch was broken. There was little to choose from at breakfast. The photos they post on Google are fake, so don’t be fooled. I left the same review on Booking, but for some reason it doesn’t show up in the app. This was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Never again!

We had to leave and find another place. The room had unfinished walls and an extremely low ceiling that made it feel like a cave. Rust-red water came from both the tap and shower, which was unacceptable and concerning for our health. We didn’t trust the hotel water enough to brush our teeth, so we used bottled water. The mini fridge was peeling inside and looked abandoned, and the room was so damp that I woke up with a sore throat. Breakfast was disappointing too: there wasn’t a proper setup for guests, so we had to eat standing up. For a vacation where we wanted to relax, the stay was tense and deeply frustrating. I don’t recommend it.

We liked it a lot and I’d come back. The pool was beautiful and had been completely renovated, the location and cleanliness were good, breakfast was nice, and the attendants were very welcoming. It’s comfortable, though definitely not a five-star place. My bed was great, and the air conditioning got nice and cold without being noisy. There are some simple things that could be improved. I was worried at first because of the negative reviews, and I’ve stayed in both better and worse places, but I enjoyed it with my family.

The location is great, but the other issues still matter. The air conditioner sounds like a tractor, the shower water suddenly starts to stop flowing, and the shower is very close to the wall. The water is yellowish and smells bad. Breakfast is very, very basic.
