The breakfast had lots to choose from and was delicious. The employees were all polite and helpful, and the hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained. We could walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants, and there’s a parking lot too. We came for a family vacation.

Breakfast was the best part of our night at Zarpa Hotel, everything was really fresh and the coffee was good and strong. The staff were friendly and the location was good, but the pool is very small, our bedroom internet didn’t work at all, and the room felt a bit ugly for the price. My husband and I stayed just one night and I was somewhat disappointed. Having stayed elsewhere in Praia do Forte, I wouldn’t recommend it to a couple wanting a quiet place. For a family after a simple, well located hotel in Praia do Forte, though, I’d absolutely recommend it.

We decided not to stay again after the noise at the pool. On Saturday it had been calm until a guest played poor quality music loudly through a speaker, driving the others away. The noise carried into our bedroom, and I had to shut the window and turn on the air conditioning before it was bearable. I think the hotel manager should add a ban on noise pollution to the hotel rules. That guest would probably do the same the next day.

I gave it 5 stars, though it’s probably more like a 3 star hotel. Still, it’s a very nice place with a great atmosphere, music, food, and drinks.

The breakfast was very good. It’s a nice hotel right in the centre of Praia do Forte, with a pool, next to a posh resort that has access to the sea.
