The room was disgusting, with a musty smell and mould. Everything in our suitcase ended up smelling mouldy too, and I can't understand paying so much for a room like that. The staff were friendly and breakfast was nice.

The room was comfortable, and the city location was very good. I was treated really well.

My bathroom ceiling was dripping water, and the room was tiny. The linen was old, there wasn't any complimentary drinking water, and the rooms are badly dated and need renovation. I'll look for somewhere else next time I'm in Recife.

The room was damp, had mildew and leaks, and the bed smelled bad. The hotel's humidity made us cough, and we couldn't sleep for two nights. We also found just one hand soap, no soap for bathing, and a dirty bathroom. At the start, they had us sign a document saying rooms were cleaned only every three days. We asked for another soap, but they never brought one. After the first sleepless night, we called to ask for a different room for the three nights we had left. They said none were available and offered only rooms for disabled people, which they said had no windows and the same dampness. We stayed put, then realized other rooms were available and felt we'd been lied to. They moved us on the second night, but that room was damp too, and staff wouldn't help carry our suitcases. The next day we left. Two other couples were leaving for the same reason. The service was terrible, and the cleanliness was horrible. This was one of the worst hotels I've stayed in. I had a reservation for April next year, 2021, at the ibis in Rio de janeiro with my family, but this experience made me decide to cancel it. I don't plan to stay with this chain again, which should at least have quality standards. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
