My husband, our three preteen daughters, and I all loved it. Sr Marco from the restaurant remembers everyone’s name and what they like. I’ve honestly never had that kind of service anywhere. The brothers Rochester and Tuane are so attentive, and he makes fantastic drinks. The reception, recreation, kitchen, and cleaning staff were all so polite and helpful. Thank you!

We stayed in a chalet, while my father had a room. Both were spotless and in perfect shape. Cabanas was a wonderful place to spend Christmas, and my husband, whose birthday is on 25/12, even got a cake and birthday song. The recreation staff were attentive to adults and kids alike. We walked to the river, played bubble soccer, visited the little farm to feed the animals, and went fishing. The owners are very friendly, and every employee was kind. Wi-Fi isn’t the place’s strong point, which makes sense since the idea is to be close to nature. With so much to do, we hardly missed it. I especially want to mention senhor Marcos. I’ve never seen a restaurant manager so thoughtful. He knows everyone by name and is always trying to make people happy. The food was tasty and home-style, we had a pasta night, and the Christmas dinner was perfect.

We stayed from 28.12 to 01.01 and had a really good time. We’d like to come back. It’s a peaceful place with only 19 suites, so it never felt crowded. The owners are around and very attentive, the rooms are clean, and the energy is solar. Meals are included and tasty, though there isn’t much variety. There’s always the basics, like beans, rice, chicken, and meat, and I enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Drinks cost extra, but the prices are fair, not outrageous. It’s a good spot for resting in nature, swimming, walking to the lookout, or bathing in the river. The weak point for us was the recreation and farm activities, which may not be their main focus. The recreation staff didn’t really engage the kids, we couldn’t ride horses, and there wasn’t a schedule for things like feeding the animals. Even so, the value for money was excellent.
