Hotel Cachoeirinha

Just average.

Simple, comfortable place, and the price is affordable.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. The room smelled moldy, and both the sheets and bath towel were stained. The TV looked like something from the '90s, and there weren't enough outlets to charge more than one phone. There wasn't even soap for the shower. When I asked at reception, the attendant said they had none without even bothering to look at me. The place wasn't selling food or drinks that day, as far as I could tell, and guests weren't allowed to order delivery or bring in drinks from outside. The AC flooded the whole floor of the room, and the Wi-Fi kept dropping. I tried to think of something positive, but couldn't. Way too expensive for such a terrible experience. I do not recommend it.

I've stayed here for many years, and it's a family-friendly, quiet place in a good location, with affordable daily rates and a decent breakfast. Markets, a bank, a churrascaria, a bakery, pharmacies, and restaurants are nearby. The rooms have some serious upkeep issues, though. The mattresses and pillows are sagging, the AC doesn't always work, and the shower gets hot. The TVs are small, and the cable channels often disappear for long stretches. The phones don't work either, and there is mold in the rooms and minibars.
