The rooms are fine, and the breakfast is good. There’s also a small playground, regular pools, and a heated one for the kids. This is one of the region’s oldest hotels, in a convenient location. The area focuses on adventure tourism, and you can see that reflected in the hotel’s facilities.

The staff were fair when I couldn’t arrive on Friday for my Friday-to-Monday booking: they didn’t charge me for that unused night, which made me feel they want guests to return. The place is well located for waterfalls and food spots, and its fireplaces and heating worked well enough. The facilities are excellent, though upkeep could be better. Breakfast starts after 8 a.m. and still isn’t self-service because of restrictions. Wi-Fi was fine at reception but poor in the rooms. With no mobile service in range, I couldn’t communicate well.
