I spent three weeks here and hope I can come back someday. Casa Verde Rio is in a safe neighborhood at the foot of a rainforest, with magical views. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast is delicious, and the hosts Stuart and Mauricio are the best, along with their cute little dogs.

The two gentlemen who run this guesthouse really made our stay. They're warm, friendly, always happy to help, and made us feel at home. Their local suggestions were spot on and helped us get more out of the trip. The guesthouse itself is charming and comfortable, in a stunning location, and breakfast was delicious every morning. A wonderful stay. Highly recommended if you're after a peaceful getaway and great hospitality.

We usually stay in five-star hotels, so trying a home-style place was something different for us, and luckily it turned out great. My wife and I felt very comfortable with our host. It really felt like a home away from home. Stuart and Mauricio know Rio well, and their advice on what to do and how to get around was excellent.

The pousada is in a peaceful, exclusive area away from the crowds, though still fairly close to the main sights. Rio's best beach is only a short walk away. Breakfast was flawless, and the whole stay felt very high-end. Mauricio and Stuart made us feel like family with their thoughtful care and attention to detail. As first-time visitors, we followed their spot-on recommendations and got straight to the best places without wasting time. It made our time in Rio easy and stress-free. Take their advice, you won't regret it.
