We felt at home in the peaceful garden and on the lovely tiled veranda, and the rooms were really comfortable. From the balcony we had a great view of the sugarloaf. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh juice, fruit, bread, cheese, eggs, coffee and more. Cafes and restaurants were an easy walk away, including Zola and Armazem, while the area itself felt quiet and safe. Thanks to Guido and Francesco for making our time in Rio so special. We absolutely loved staying here.

The location made it easy to get to Chacara do Céu and Park Gloria Maria, both with amazing views of Rio. Guido and Francisco were wonderful hosts, the house was immaculate, and breakfast was excellent. We'd happily stay again.

My wife, our two adult sons and I spent two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed them. The place has loads of character, and Guido and Francisco were great hosts. We walked up to The Explorer and Zola for dinner, and both restaurants had plenty of character too. An excellent place to stay.

We could walk to bars and dinner spots in the evening, then wake up to birds singing in this dream of a house. The owners are lovely and breakfast is yummy. Such a beautiful, calm place to stay!

The hosts were super nice and helpful, and we had loads of space in our room. The neighborhood felt safe and pretty, with good restaurants and bars nearby and everything easy to walk to. We had an amazing stay in this beautiful house, and the breakfast was delicious. We’ll definitely come back!
