The place was relatively clean and quiet, and might suit local travelers. I wouldn’t say it’s suitable for international tourists. There are no signs, so it was very hard to find, and the location didn’t feel safe. Staff weren’t always around either. I waited over an hour to check in, and the whole experience felt a bit strange. I stayed because the whole city was booked for New Years and this was the only reasonably priced option available.

It’s a simple place with a well-kept feel, and the location is good. The room barely has any comforts, but it was clean and honest. I slept like a baby and woke up refreshed, so it was worth it. Breakfast is really simple, but so nicely put together it beats a lot of hotels in RJ. Fresh bread!

The place is spacious, really clean, and pleasant, with the feeling of being at a relative’s house. Staff were attentive and polite. The beds make noise whenever you move around, which can bother or even wake your roommates. The electric showers weren’t working properly either: the water was either very hot or very cold, with no way to get it in between. Apart from that, everything was fine.
